How it works
A real look at your site. Not a questionnaire.
No forms to fill in about your stack and no generic template. The report is built from what your website actually serves.
- 01
Paste your address
We read your public site the way a careful visitor would: up to 20 pages, the sitemap and robots.txt, one browser render of the homepage, and Google's PageSpeed data.
- 02
Read the evidence
You see what the site runs on, how fast it is for real users, how big it is, and what's broken. Every claim links back to what was actually observed.
- 03
Decide, then act
Compare the options side by side, then follow the free DIY plan or ask me for a proper proposal. Both start from the same analysis.
What's in the report
Everything you need to make the call.
Evidence first. Every finding says what was observed, why it matters and what to do about it. Where data is missing, the report says so instead of guessing.
Run it on your site- Stack
- CMS, frameworks, plugins, analytics and hosting signals. 180+ technologies recognised, each with the evidence it was found by and a confidence level.
- Speed
- Lighthouse scores for mobile and desktop, plus Core Web Vitals from real Chrome users when Google has them. Lab and field data are never mixed up.
- Size
- Estimated page count, templates, forms, languages, e-commerce and integrations: the things that actually drive migration effort.
- Health
- SEO basics, security headers, broken links and outdated runtimes, ranked by business impact with a concrete next step for each.
- Options
- 6 strategies scored against your site, from optimising what you have to moving to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Next.js.
- Cost
- Indicative build and running costs from a documented formula, with assumptions, exclusions and confidence spelled out. A planning range, not a quote.
Migration paths
Common migrations, and when not to do them.
Sometimes the best migration is no migration. A change of platform is recommended only when the evidence supports it, and never just because a technology is old.
WordPress → Next.js
Read the guideGood fit: Teams with developers who want speed, design freedom and a modern workflow.
Watch out: Usually the most expensive path; editors need a new CMS.
WordPress → Webflow
Read the guideGood fit: Marketing-led sites that want visual editing without plugins or servers.
Watch out: Plan limits, e-commerce and complex integrations need checking.
Elementor → Next.js
Good fit: Builder-heavy sites where page weight and layout sprawl hold performance back.
Watch out: Builder layouts must be rebuilt, not converted automatically.
WooCommerce → Shopify
Good fit: Stores that want managed checkout, hosting and less plugin maintenance.
Watch out: Shopify's fixed URL structure makes redirect mapping essential.
Legacy PHP → Modern framework
Good fit: Custom sites on unsupported runtimes that block security updates.
Watch out: Hidden business logic must be discovered before estimating.
WordPress → Optimized WordPress
Often the best value
Good fit: Sites whose editors love WordPress but whose theme, plugins or hosting slow them down.
Watch out: Often the best value: same CMS, same URLs, far less risk.

A note from the person behind it
Most rebuilds start with the wrong question.
Hi, I'm Adrian. Since 2020 I've run GACODE, a software studio in Wrocław. A lot of our work is modernising systems that have grown for years, and the expensive surprises are almost always the same.
Teams pick the new platform first and only later find out what the old site actually does: the plugin nobody remembers, the form wired into the CRM, the URLs Google ranks. That's where budgets and rankings get lost.
SiteRefactor automates the first part of the audit I'd do before quoting a migration. It looks at what you run, how fast it is, how big it is, and which options make sense, including staying where you are. It's free, it only uses public information, and every number shows where it came from.
If you want a second opinion afterwards, you talk to me, not to a sales team.
